Re: TES Skyrim 0.200

UAC off; enbhost.exe added to exclusion list and runs as admin. Instant CTD. Aug 5th&6th versions work fine. :?:

Re: TES Skyrim 0.200

after days of playing with over 246 mods and 4.5-4.7gb worth of VRAM usage, no issue to report. Works like a champ. thank Borris

Re: TES Skyrim 0.200

Is this update includes texture/mesh streaming ?
It would be nice to have this possibility to definitively get rid of some freezes/CTD (at some RAM cost (my problem is not RAM)).

edit :let's try first dynamic unloading for freezes ;)

Boris
Have not been able to figure out why the small files appear sometimes yet :>
But the lines that gets added to enblocal seem to only happen when multiple weather is off, I have been tuneing weather in ck for a bit so I had it off to be sure it follow the basic setup I set inside enbseries.
It does not happen when multiple weather is on and clicking save config (well almost 100% sure) :>

Re: TES Skyrim 0.200

Iv been trying the ENB and the thing that stood out to me was the option for full screen windowed mode, been really wanting that for a long time.

However using ENB 0.200 is causing me to crash to desktop quite alot (everytime i play skyrim after a short time), it happens sometimes when walking and sometimes when I fast travel.

I'm at abit of a loss and don't usually post lightly as I have been investigating for sometime tonight and the only conclusion i could come up with was that it was ENB 0.200 as many things went through my mind as i was tying Real Vision ENB.

I hope there is an answer or a fix and i am hopeful :D

Delete enbhost.exe, do you have problem then?

ramzbo
1) If you delete enbhost.exe, result will be the same by frequency of CTDs?
2) EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=true solving problem?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.200

Test attached version, may be it will work for those users for whom enbhost.exe not worked? It also have compression to reduce RAM usage a little more (if enbhost.exe running, then for it, otherwise for skyrim process), but no dynamic unloading.

PS: unfortunately my tests of dynamic version are failed, it work only in normal conditions, but if i fill up video memory with garbage to simulate 256 and 512 mb videocards, game start to corrupt my data from other threads, this isn't simple to fix.

EDIT: test deleted

Re: TES Skyrim 0.200

@Boris
Something else, im currently testing Opethfeldt Beta 7 ENB and saw an interesting effect with IBL enabled though im not sure if this is maybe caused by wrong first person model setup but if im very close to a object texture that gets IBL processed my Hand becomes translucent and shows the texture through it, is this a normal to be expected side effect ?
If i disable IBL the effect disappears and the Hand stays solid if im near the object (texture) maybe it's though just a issue i experience as no one yet seems to have reported something like this yet.

Also if i enable the console after some time the weather id seems to get lost and another weather state loaded this is changing immediately if leaving the console but you cant really edit a specific weather state with the console open this way for a long time as it's tracking seems to get lost same happens with tfc 1 for me too :(

Also i can't move the weather Edit window to another position it seems to stick @ it's position and is non movable compared to the other windows which can be freely positioned in space and it's scaling behaves strange.

CruNcher;

Try setting the IBL values to 0 and see if it still occurs, I guess it's coming from the reflection part of IBL.

CruNcher
I said hundred of times, this game not support depth based effects for first person models.
Weather unsupported and it's known and unfixable behavior.
Weather window unmovable is a bug, i'll fix it if not forget (now 14 versions in testing, i can't edit them all).

EDIT: don't post anything not specific to version 0.200 here, i'm waiting test results from strangers.
